Literature Nobel announcement due Thursday
Woot! Those Scandiwegians' antics get better and better.
No sooner does Making Trouble mention Stephen King in the same breath as the Nobel literature gong, than it starts sounding as if the 'Bard of Maine' really *is* involved:
- Just before they announce this year's victor scriptorum, one of *last* year's judges "takes umbrage" over the 2004 winner, describing it as "a mass of text shovelled together without artistic structure."
- Gosh - someone does know their Stephen King!
- Yes, indeed, having kept shtoom all year, stripling Knut Ahnlund (82) is suppressing his disgust no longer.
