White House Memo
First the Downing Street Memo, now Channel 4's exposé of the White House Memo: Seems that Hob' and Pood' discussed the possibility of getting UN support, but Hob had decided to go to war anyway, so what the heck: The US would "put its full weight behind efforts to get another resolution and would 'twist arms' and 'even threaten'. But ... if ultimately we failed, military action would follow anyway.'' Quoth Blair, that he was "solidly with the President and ready to do whatever it took to disarm Saddam."
