To Safeway for an evening coffee, pastry and plough through a wad of snail mail from home.

I have no lunch for tomorrow or fruit for tonight so I wander the aisles being indecisive.

6:25pm: I exit Safeway to face a full horizon-to-horizon rainbow

My camera can't fit it all in but I snap anyway.

I have something to prepare for tomorrow in the office and which I have been putting off all weekend. I do what I vowed never to do again: return to a cold and unlit office on a gloomy weekend.

So much of my working life has been spent letting myself into cold and unlit buildings under the guise of "catching up".
