NPR's Vlog Nod

Laura Sydell's venture into vloggia adds to the growing attention from the MSM.

The interviewees don't sound like any grassroots vloggers *I* consort with, so I pompously affect to find Ms Sydell's a "surface" job and wonder aloud where they "find these people".

In fact, it's a perfectly competent job and I listen more closely the second time around to where she touches on RSS feeds.

I had *not* heard the cute variation on the Warhol pronouncement:

AW believed everyone would have their 15 minutes of fame; vloggers predict everyone will be famous to 15 people.
Now *there's false modesty if ever I heard it. Everyone knows perfectly well that the revolution will be thoroughly blogged and vlogged and the streets clogged with the glorious proletariat in their thousands, each madly filming and ^5-ing each other.
