Corfiot Flowers

My over-achieving Mum is at the easel again, painting up a storm of her remarkable plants pics.

As if her recent exhibition (see poster) wasn't enough.

Visiting London from Corfu, she took some of her pictures to the Academy where an effete expert young enough to be her unborn grandson pronounced that people "always got the green wrong."

He took one of mum's pictures to the window to better scrutinise it in daylight. After a long look he came back:

"I don't think I've seen anything better."
