Channie Peters has the right idea in her March 2 letter in the Review ('Let 'em know the answer is No')

Don't just get mad, get detailed

And she reminds us:

"The most effective way to make our views known ... is to contact the Washington State Dept of Transportation"

Or, as Johnny Cochran might rhyme it,

If we mail, they will quail

Channie goes on:

"We can hope that if WSDOT receives thousands of negative responses, they will rethink the proposed fare changes."

Rethink sounds good.
