Election Trio

Quite by accident, had myself quite a decent hat-trick on last night's TV:

• PBS' "Now" with Moyers and Brancaccio talking about the Bush-endangered Wilderness Act.
• Robert Redford in a movie I'd not seen and was about to rent, The Candidate
• And a rather sexily severe Maureen Dowd as solus attraction on the Letterman show. Rarely seen on the Idiot Box, Dowd was out and about plugging her new book, Bushworld, which I might actually read, as might I start checking out her writings via the link on Drudge
