Gerard Jones Review
Or, How I'd like to write
I've never heard of GJ either, nor his Everyone Who's Anyone site, but Grumpy Bookman does an excellent review of his Ginny Good.
In fact, this is how I'd like write (blog or not) and the sort of serious subject matter I wish I was up to handling.
