Killing them Softly
I never cease to be inspired by Julie Leung's incomparable Seedlings blog.
I missed the moving piece on Dan Pearl's widow's courage.
Monitoring Julie's Feb 10 blog - as we all should do - caught me up.I'm privileged to be in actual e-contact with Mrs Leung.
To quote from my appreciative mail,
" I wept at the time. Such *utter* senselessness and cruelty, and such an example under conditions, pray God, we ourselves will never know."
